I got talked into one of those things, I think it was the zipper, by a friend at a local carnival. We got stuck upside down at the top and I wanted to kill her!
No worries there, Fred, as they wouldn’t have let you on. Not because they didn’t want basset vomit all over the car or other patrons, but because you don’t fit well into the strappy seat!
When I was young, during the summer fair a ride (I think it was called The Octopus) failed and a couple local kids got killed. Sort-of shied away from the rides since then.
I haven’t even seen an ’artist’s rendition’ of a ‘Buzz Bomb’(because of the sound that it made)in ages. The last one I saw in person was at ‘Indiana Beach’ before someone decided we needed a ‘scaled down version’ of ‘Disneyland’ in the middle of Indiana and totally ruined the best amusement park in Central United States ! ! ! !
68 and still a coaster freak. Although of late, a good coaster afternoon may be followed up by a few weeks of physical therapy…Ah well, just a cost of doing business…

If stepping stones across a small stream were too risky for you, that’s a good call!

That’s okay, Fred. I wouldn’t want to go on that ride either.
