Careful Petey, them shoebox trebuchets are a gateway. First it’s Scary Clown flinging, then soccer balls, followed by cows and finally off to Cicely to fling pianos. Oh,where it end

i need to check my pulse….

Petey has to ease into being interesting. He doesn’t want to go all the way to Dill’s Brothers interesting in one step! Still, now that he’s taken the first step, it’s going to be hard to go back to his former, uninteresting self…

who’s gonna pay for that petey?

I believe this is the first time that Petey has ever impressed Alice.

But x_Tech, that thing in Cicely was intended wasn’t it? That was one of the few shows in the last 20 years that I watched every week, postponing even MNF viewing until Northern Exposure was done for the night.

So basically the difference between a trebuchet and a catapult is that a trebuchet uses a counterweight and the catapult uses elasticity as the source of kinetic energy?

cedward, I saw some operating models on DesignToscano.com (both trebuchet and guilletine) that were reasonably priced- but they may be out by now. I was tempted but would rather buy materials for my own projects.
