Payne, you and your ilk didn’t like it when Colin peacefully kneeled and you don’t like it when he speaks up. The only thing that will make you happy, is the good old days. The days when the black man knew his place. Sorry, it isn’t going to happen this time.
I invite folks to watch the reading of a Fredrick Douglas speech in 1852 by James Earl Jones where he talks what Independence Day means to the Freed slave. It might help give context to Kaep’s tweet allegation.
Many Americans have taken the opportunity to re-think their knee-jerk racist attitude toward Colin Kaepernick.
Il Douche has doubled down on his racism. Payne, Stiglich, Ramirez and others have decided they want to be on the same ethical and moral level as the Tangerine Traitor.
This is PERFECTLY SENSIBLE. If you believe the right-wing white supremacist bible:
1: Kaepernick was wrong to kneel during the anthem and he’s a hot-headed problem maker.
2: Any attempt to bring attention to US institutional racism, including that in the entertainment media is an attack on the USA and all it stands for.
3: (and then there’s the whole “graffiti is a crime / using spray paint proves you’re a criminal” thing)
And those two and a half points explain this entire ’toon. Though it would have helped if the artwork made it a little clearer which part of the sign was there originally and which part was the spray paint. It must have taken exquisite muscle control and expertise to write that bottom line using spray paint. Man. That guy could probably make a living playing some kind of sport!

This is incomprehensible. Henry’s stupidity knows no bounds, it looks like he had a stroke of some kind.

From what I’ve seen of ‘Hamilton’, it is basically the 2020 version of ‘1776’
