With qualified immunity intact, what leverage do victims and their families have against bad cops?

Scott’s bill is fake. It is — how did Caribou Barbie say it? — lipstick on a pig. Write something with a few meaningless words about police reform without any actual change, and then complain that the Democrats don’t want reform. Old school trick, but still In the GOP playbook.

Pass Amash’s tripartisan bill to eliminate qualified immunity. Stop protecting the overlords from the one thing they’re supposed to be doing: defending our rights to life and liberty.

Why is the harrassing officer a Dem and not a Repub? It’s the Repub Senate that came up with the weak reform bill, not the Dem House. I guess in Chip’s mind, the Dem’s failure to go along with the Senate makes them the bad guy.

Americans agree – we don’t need to reform the police. We need to defund and eliminate the police! It’s time to end the systemic racism in law enforcement.

Between him, Lisa Benson and others there’s barely a coherent thought to blame on any of them.

So suddenly the bad cop racially profiling is a Democrat? Sounds like Bok is pushing the “Democratic Party was the original party of racism” rhetoric again. For argument sake, the Confederate states that fought for the state’s right to own slaves transitioned from primarily Democratic control by Dixiecrats to Republican control. You’d think the result would’ve been less racism and systemic profiling and segregation in those states and an increase of those problems in primarily Democratic controlled northern states, right? We should see more racism in traditionally Blue and not Red states…oh wait, American racism isn’t limited to party affiliation; it’s an American cultural problem found in urban, rural, from west to east coast, and from northern to southern borders with Canada and Mexico.

WTFN! (What the Fox News… say it out loud.) that’s what these people do.
