One of the original Sunday strips was skipped in the first repeat; so, when today’s originally ran it preceded strips beginning a week from Monday, and, it’ll be a week before some of what the entry mentions actually occurs.

there’s no escaping that Ernesto

Ernesto always dreamed of being a James Bond villain.

Petey, having a friend, imaginary or not, like Ernesto is necessary for you. He helps keep your wild & crazy lifestyle under control!

I know a chap similar to Ernesto, although he doesn’t dress as well. Unfortunately, that chap is me. I must get better threads.

And they will be just as exciting as his Little Nero comics.

So, is Ernesto real or not?

I need to see if those titles are still in print. They might help me deal with 2020…

Ernesto reminds me of Peter Lorre.

As a kid, I used to walk 5 miles in 100 degree summer heat to get to the library. We didn’t have air conditioning at our house in OKC.

https://www.cartoonart.org. They have classes and exhibits that Petey would love. The only place in San Francisco I miss since moving away. That and a few tourist traps during non-tourist season.

Time for the head-shrinking meds.

Dramatic confirmation that Ernesto is imaginary! No one could hoard library furniture to build a faux-volcano BoO for the whole summer in reality! Petey knows his remedy, too. Madeline must see that!
