Funny how non-Black Conservatives or maybe it’s just non-Black folk in general that never cared about Black and Brown lives when it comes to criminal violence until those deaths are result of excessive use of force by cops or White vigilantes. It’s their only response like:- mass shooting at school isn’t a gun control issue, it’s a mental health issue;-thus unarmed Black man killed by cop(s) isn’t a call for police reform, it’s Black on Black crime you should focus on.
Black neighborhood choices when a violent crime is committed: a) call the cops and hope they don’t kill one of us citing “fear for their life” or b) community finds way to protect itself like we always have done.
Yeah, because there’s a city with Democrat leadership that has a black neighborhood crime problem that proves that all blacks nationwide are at fault… /s
Payne, gun and gang violence increase when the people in the neighborhood are afraid to call the police because of how many times the caller is the one killed “by mistake”.
Maybe if some of the 100s of millions of dollars that has been put into buying the police military gear and for profit prisons with no training incentives to keep people out of prison had been put into helping these communities and their schools and training programs along with health education instead of prison only and abstinence only programs things would be different.

That’s right, Henry. When those who swear an oath to “serve and protect” and then murder black people it is a much worse crime against humanity as it violates the trust of the tax payer. Gang violence is not acceptable, and the result in lives lost is the same. But the gangs aren’t paid by the citizens, don’t claim to work for or serve the citizens, and take no oath to uphold the laws of the citizens.
In other words, it’s just more conservative hypocrisy that you enable and embrace.

It’s the taxpayer that funds the police. It is the taxpayer that funds the multi-million dollar settlements that Police violence creates.
