I was in the army from 1970-1973. My commander-in-chief was Richard Nixon. I had no liking for Nixon, at all. However, it never crossed my mind that he would have sat still for this kind of shit from Leonid Brezhnev. It might have gone on, but I’m convinced Nixon and Kissinger would have done SOMETHING.
This week I broached the story about this to 2 Trumper ‘s -one a friend the other a relative. Both said they didn’t care “nothing will change my mind” about voting for Trump. It’s insane.
The basic problem here is that we’re assuming that Demented Donnie gives a “rat’s ass” about America – he doesn’t! And neither do the idiots, morons and imbeciles who support him now – both he and his followers are racists, bigots and white nationalists who care absolutely nothing for our country – because our great nation no longer reflects the population that they love – the northern European archetype of the mid 20th century , which was, itself a myth.
