    I believe Garfield exhaustingly tried to do one sit-up as well.

    @Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp condition must be very poor for him to end up in hospital after just one situp :o) lately I have been doing a lot of exercising because Connie is in pain so I run all the errands :o{, my avatar is a photo of my late dad’s camera bought in 1916 and still working if you could find film for it , how was your day in nearly total freedom? our day should be busy but calm I hope, this morning when I went to our mini market just up the road from our house , one of the owner’s sons asked if I did the laundry myself too , for me it’s bewildering as rocket science :o) stay safe and BCNU pal

    Finally got rid of almost six months of hair. I was strolling through Chinatown and saw an open door on a barbershop with just the guy in there alone, so I assumed he would welcome a “walk-in”. We had some language issues as I was hoping to trim away all of it ala ‘Steve Harvey’ style. I did say that I know I am balding so there is no point in hiding it with a comb-over, but he did however leave a little on top which actually looks good. The price afterwards was twice what I would normally pay, but I am so glad to be free of all that fur because of all the humid days ahead and the other issues with covid he certainly needed the business.

    Next time Andy might want to think about doing some push aways.

    Except that sit ups won’t reduce the amount of fat around his gut, just strengthen the muscles underneath.

    He should start going to a pub farther from home, so he’ll have more distance to run to get there by opening time.

    See what a good health care system can do.. Who.. in America could afford to get an ambulance trip to the hospital for something as mundane as a strained tummy.

    Today’s strip is NOT funny, but the reality for most of the Cappers on here…

    All that running around on the soccer field didn’t get him in any kind shape?

    I’m rather surprised that Flo doesn’t drag him along to the gym with her and Rube. Although one thing, Flo & Rube don’t seem to be dedicated to it themselves. Another thing, maybe they enjoy their “girl time” together and one more thing, Andy would only find a way to sneak off to the pub anyway.

    @Afficionado

    So sorry to hear that Connie is in pain. How awful.

    That camera is legendary. I am getting into photography myself and have been for a while but I am by no means a professional.

    This is a photo I took yesterday of myself which I’m rather proud of. It looks a little bit like an album cover.

    I’m meeting up with a guy who went to my school on Friday. He added me on Facebook a couple of weeks ago and suggested we meet up sometime. Looking forward to it.

    How old is Typhoon Timmy now by the way?

    Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal.

    Crunches on a stablization ball. Much easier on the back and hip flexors.

    A classic episode of “The Dick Van Dyke Show”: Rob was trying to practice judo or something (I forget what exactly), and was flipped by the large toy monkey he was practicing with. Laura explained his injuries: “When the medics taking him to the ambulance learned that he’d been flipped by a monkey, they laughed so hard they dropped him in the rose bushes!”

    Andy is more used to doing lie downs than sit ups.
