Last time I had a golf club in my hands was about 50 years ago in Altus, OK. It was 105 degrees, the water hazards had evaporated and the sand traps blew away. The course consisted of the rough, the fairway and the brown.
I have some buzzards that fly around the neighborhood. I usually see them if I am outside for more than 20 minutes. I don’t hate them, but I think I will invest in a Life Alert pretty soon. You know. That whole “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” scenario seems a lot more ominous now.

Yep. Right now one of those circling buzzards are telling the others: “Patience my arse! I’m going down there and KILL something!” ;)

It wasn’t a sand trap when he started.

That’s a bunker, not a sand trap. A bunker is a depression, it may have sand in it, but that doesn’t make it a sand trap.

I don’t know much about Golf, but can’t he just “take a stroke” (I think that’s what they call it, not sure) and place the ball outside the bunker?

I see one eye is on the hole marker. The other eye is on the buzzards/vultures marking the hole yet to be discovered some time in the future.

If you are foolish enough to go around the landscape, trying to paste a little ball into a little hole here and there, and pay money to do it…
