Aren’t these the justices your masters rigged and stole elections to be able to appoint, Ramirez ? Why are you complaining now ?

Yeah, right. It’s the activist Supremes the Republicans installed, not the batshirt crazy president* who abuses the office.

Ramirez is upset that his chosen one’s kangaroo court is hopping for the American people instead of for the little dictator.

    Legislation?

DACA was an executive order. Sure, it started out as legislation, but never made it passed Mitch McConnell. The SCOTUS didn’t like the way Trump handled it.

In the decision involving LGBTQ legislation, they didn’t change a thing, other than insist that the law be applied equally.

What we have here is the Court properly fulfilling its function. If you don’t like it, you’re the one with a problem understanding how the Constitution works.

Maybe because Congress fails to properly legislate.

One or two “bad” rulings do not a SCOTUS make. How many rulings went Trump’s way?

With the court, we know which way the liberals will go, and we know which way the conservatives will go, but we don’t know which way Roberts will go. Imagine Roberts, the Repub pick for Supreme Justice, is now the swing voter.

Of course, when the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act of 1965, THAT was sober, sensible jurisprudence.

THE SUPREME COURT is supposed to determine if law and the rule of law is being followed whenever it reviews legislation from Congress. THE ORANGE FRUITCAKE AND mitch McMafia were just surprised and enraged when their hand-picked Supreme Kangaroo Court actually supported THE CONSTITUTION.

Mr. Ramirez clearly doesn’t understand the workings of the judicial system; especially the Supreme Court.

The court does not, and can not, void or negate any law or executive order. What the court does is state that judicial power does not extend to any law or order that does not meet constitutional requirements, meaning no court can enforce that unconstitutional law.

Judicial power extends to any case of law arising under the Constitution (Article III) and when a law doesn’t arise under the Constitution it doesn’t activate judicial power.

    That is not legislating.

The Supreme’s JOB is to rule on the legality of the things the other two branches of government try to do. I can’t imagine that Ramirez doesn’t know this, so I must believe that he’s trying, again, to tear down our nation’s legacy of even handed openness.

Remember, President Obama said many times that he couldn’t protect Dreamers on his own, but would need for it to be passed thru Congress. Then, after his 2nd election he decided to go ahead and “just do it”, through executive action. All Trump was saying was, it was done improperly and to roll it back and John Roberts cancelled the whole thing out. Thats the long and short of it.

All I can think of is the opening of one of the Monty Python movies where the accountants become pirates and the large corporate buildings are ships. It makes me laugh just remembering. Think I’ll go watch a movie.
