A better depiction of Justice Gorsuch would have him standing proud and smiling confidently at knowing that he made the right decision.

LGBTQ persons are citizens as much as anyone else. They should have the same rights as everyone else. Religious people that say homosexuality is a choice and not born that way, should remember that religion is also a choice.

Well, at least he’s holding true to his neoliberal/neoconservative ideology. Hatred of gays is just a sideshow, to appeal to tribalism and help distract from the ever-increasing disparity between the .1% and everyone else. And he can look like a hero to many people, for not being as hateful as usual.

Why is that elephant depicted displaying far more backbone than any Republican has in the last three and a half years?

Maybe he’ll be a new, level-headed, Anthony Kennedy. ..We concerned, loyal Americans can hope..This looming politically-oriented justice system is quite alarming. ..Especially with all the partisan, reactionary, lifetime-appointed Federal judges the McConnell gang is pushing through before they lose control.

I am sure Justice Gorsuch has been duly reprimanded and will stay true to trumps wishes in the future.. especially on trumps tax case.

Doesn’t Gorsuch know he is supposed to bend the law to favor right wing prejudice?

Ain’t that the truth. McConnell’s Senate GOP undermined our Constitution and Democracy to steal a SCOTUS seat. He also knowingly undermined the intelligence reports that Russia was actively interfering in our election process in 2016 cause their activities was helping the GOP. If Dems don’t retake the Senate or unseat McConnell, this Constitutional crisis will continue.

We may have seen the birth of a new Earl Warren.

How much hatred can one party carry? Seriously? How do people get to be so repugnant?

I was surprised and gratified. Though I have noticed that becoming a supreme tends to make people a little more… even handed… than they were prior. I suppose it’s the thought that your rulings are going to be studied and maybe overturned in the future, so you start thinking ahead more.

Supreme Court Justices are supposed to be above partisan politics. Too bad too many appointees forget that.

Gorsuch didn’t vote like a Democrat – or a Republican.

Based on the opinion he wrote, he voted like someone explicating on the EXACT meaning of the law.

Not allowing Obama a last Supreme Count nomination was Biden’s idea.
