What Larry learning? Multi-dimensional string theory? The mathematics of time paradox? Bi-lateral Subsequentialism? How to hold in fart til company leave?
Honestly, it took me a second to realize that his written “Hi. Me LARRY.” would just be a quiet image to the other people there. Because to me, it was as much of a spoken line as the rest of the strip’s dialogue.
First of all, “Social Distance” IS a noun phrase: “Maintain social distance,” etc. It’s also used as a verb, although it’s probably more common as a noun.
And if your problem is that you think it’s not a noun, why would using it as a noun have ANYthing to do with using the noun “car” as a verb? The car analogy would argue against using the noun phrase “social distance” as a verb.
I was listening to a podcast and the participants were talking about a zoom conference they had where one of the guys had put a picture of himself as his background and it took them over 45 minutes to realize he wasn’t really sitting there.
and since they live in a cartoon world, the written speech does not look suspicious, though it may be suspicious that it appears through the whole meeting
Is that what classmates look like. I only saw backs of heads and heard voices from behind me, till the yearbook. University, the same thing except for labs.

True to form, the Crocs are. No social distance, no masks, swilling beer like drunken sailors.

An ideal class for Larry. It look reelistic, but he can’t harm anyone, and no one can harm him.
And, he can drink beer during class!
