The evangelicals are simply beside themselves at Gorsuch’s “treason”. Poor babies…

Some conservative judges gave us a very bigly surprise. This is really going to piss off some conservative preachers. It will give Tiny another subject to tweet about. The LBBTQ community gets some protection from employment discrimination. Everybody gets something.

It still amazes me that 3 Justices found BS reasons to dissent against protections from discrimination. For them to claim they were against legislating from the bench is the epitome of hypocrisy. Conservative judges do it all the time. Affluency and privilege wasn’t a legitimate thing until Conservative judges made it so in several rulings involving wealthy, privileged young White men.

Can’t wait for Trump to tweet about Gorsuch betraying his boss. It might be that G., realizing that he got this position as the result of some really shady dealings, is trying to show that he’es really no puppet. Oh, yeah: there’s also the merits of the case.

Don’t break out the party hats just yet. The decision was limited to workplace discrimination. You can still refuse health care, housing and other services to someone for being gay. At least this is a step in the right direction.
