Pain not worth the gain

When I learned to control my dreams it ruined the quality of my sleep. I did it back in college and after a few years I had to work to unlearn the dream control. Also, nightmares learned a new trick: they would start with me dreaming that I’d waken up; then I couldn’t control them.

I puked in my mouth a little there.

Not a dream it is a nightmare.

Believe it or not, had a good experience at the MN DMV yesterday. Arrived at 8 AM opening, hundreds in line (socially distanced, mostly masked!), but they had us all show our cell phones and register for a text message. Then we all sat in our cars until we got a text to come in. Got the the text in 45 minutes, in and out in 15 more minutes, to get a Real ID.

Just shoot yourself!

And his little cyborg sidekick is thinking in the third panel, “This upcoming AI apocalypse is going to happen sooner than we anticipated.”

Maybe tonight he can dream of Ruth Buzzi!

Wow – all y’all are feeling mean today!

And, no longer having any appetite, skipped lunch.

At least now you have an excuse for having a lousy love life.

Ugh! What a horrible nightmare!

Start over, Monty. Try to dream of someone at least quasi-likeable….

after that you never sleep again in fear of that dream becoming intimate.
