Not related to the above comic, but still relevant.

Some of you may have heard the news that Nickelodeon got the rights to make a Phoebe and Her Unicorn animated series. I should be excited, since I’ve wanted to see a P&HU adaptation for literally years, but I was hoping some sort of streaming service like Netflix would do it, since Nickelodeon is known for horribly screwing over their shows and creators.

Fingers crossed they don’t mistreat this show like they did their other shows.

You probably won’t say that to some that have been fried with a side of fries, Marigold.

They have more a reliable memory than mine. Plus, their memory is more reliable than mine.

Actually, goldfish are confirmed to have a memory span of 3 seconds. Not no memory at all, but 3 seconds.

“We aren’t certain who discovered water, but we’re pretty sure it wasn’t the fish.” Generally attributed to Marshall McLuhan

Speaking of memory, I hope they (or Bernie Horowitz) remember to actually MAKE the aforementioned TV series. Plenty of movies and TV shows are announced as being in development, yet never actually end up broadcast for many and various reasons (most of which I forget).

I hope that kept fish have poor memories. How else to avoid boredom?

Shed no tears over the TV abusing of Phoebe; rather weep for those to come that will be deprived of the brilliance and magnificence of our comments…
