Looking forward to the resumption of the Trump rallies. They were always sources of vast amusement – lots of shouting and yelling and other forms of “superspreader” nonsense!
It is painful to note that evidently the North Carolina Governor is not going to allow Trump his “superspreader” political convention – oh well, maybe some other republican governor will be more amenable.
It does seem that, at least in this country, many people automatically believe the current sound byte they get from TV. I have noticed it in two of my friends; they believe everything they hear from trump, limbaugh, and whatever news station they watch. They don’t seem to recognize conflicting statements, or flip-flops!
I really do think it would be very much to the point for black people to join the NRA, move around (in groups) visibly armed, and point out that they have a right to do so. And be very very careful to have cameras trained on them and their environment at all times while they do absolutely nothing that’s even close to illegal.
