Trump is, indeed, at war with the Constitution of the United States, as well as with its citizens, at least with the ones who want to make this Country a decent place to live.

“We are gonna win, win, win. We’re going to win with military, we’re going to win at the borders, we’re going to win with trade, we’re going to win at everything. And some of you are friends and you’re going to call, and you’re going to say, ‘Mr. President, please, we can’t take it anymore, we can’t win anymore like this, Mr. President, you’re driving us crazy, you’re winning too much, please Mr. President, not so much, and I’m going to say I’m sorry, we’re going to keep winning because we are going to make America great again.”

If you believe that the military will not act on the orders of the President, you have forgotten history. Herbert Hoover had Douglas MacArthur clear out the Bonus Marchers, with good old Patton leading a charge. Of course that was in Washington, DC rather than in a state. But the Army was used against strikers in the past. So I would not count on the military disobeying Trump.

Trump pardons war criminals and treasonous scum. He gasses peaceful demonstrators, including priests and children, for a photo-op, to show him holding a Bible as if for the first time while posing in front of a church. The same way he shows respect for the flag, humping it as a sign of affection. He abdicates his responsibility when the country is threatened by a pandemic. The stable genius is bored talking to scientists, it’s like attending class, it’s for nerds and losers.

But war, war is exciting…. not the kind you get drafted into, not the ones where the enemy has weapons or you have to travel to some shit-hole country…. but the ones you declare on those terrorist democrats. in your own front yard. After all, you’ll finally get your military parade on the Mall, it will be glorious… vainglorious

Not to worry – when his bone spurs kick in, Trump will deny he ever threatened to pit U.S. troops against U.S. citizens… then quickly deflect to another self-made mess…

    (Repost)

    Dear Secretary Esper,

I resign from the Defense Science Board, effective immediately.

When I joined the Board in early 2014, after leaving government service as Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, I again swore an oath of office, one familiar to you, that includes the commitment to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States . . . and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same.”

You recited that same oath on July 23, 2019, when you were sworn in as Secretary of Defense. On Monday, June 1, 2020, I believe that you violated that oath. Law-abiding protesters just outside the White House were dispersed using tear gas and rubber bullets — not for the sake of safety, but to clear a path for a presidential photo op. You then accompanied President Trump in walking from the White House to St. John’s Episcopal Church for that photo.

President Trump’s actions Monday night violated his oath to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed,” as well as the First Amendment “right of the people peaceably to assemble.” You may not have been able to stop President Trump from directing this appalling use of force, but you could have chosen to oppose it. Instead, you visibly supported it.

I immediately emailed both AZ senators about the outrageous order to put active soldiers in the streets. Not that I expect ANY response except the formulaic drivel thanking me for my input. But I plan to keep it up every day.A massive daily write in campaign would maybe get someone’s attention

Not mine but I’ll quote it again – FDR is remembered for “All we have to fear, is fear itself.” Rump will be remembered as “Why did the chicken cross the road? To go to church only for a phot op with an upside down Bible in his hand.”

This is what happened because Bonespurs and Turtle McConnell refused to follow the law. Impeachment and removal is following the Constitution, unlike everything Bonespurs and treasonous Republicans are doing. The alternative might be moral justice, but WE must follow the laws!

Time to invoke the “Insurrection” law… against Trump!

He has been actively and openly been advocating and inciting insurrection against the duly elected governments of the several states and against the Constitution of the United States.

Our troops (they’re not “his”) should be sent to dig him out of his Fox®hole under the White House.
