And now she’s stuck because since he accepted she had no need to show him the photo. So if Tiff doesn’t speak up, she’ll be screwed anyway. Unless she’s so evil she’ll fake a miscarraige.

It would not surprise me if Ann had the backup plan of actually becoming pregnant just in case this thing went bad.

Does Tom even know about Les? I mean, if he did would he really WANT to have a kid with Ann?!

I guess enough of us complained that this strip was becoming depressing that they decided to “yuk it up” a bit.

And they did.

Tiffany shows all the fibe of a floor mat. She gave That Woman a foot rub even though Tiffany was packed and ready to leave. Would it have been so hard to say “That’s what servants are for.”

Does faking a pregnancy get you foot rubs? Hmm. It might be worth it.

I defend people all the time, from my days as an innocent cradle Catholic to now as a progressive Anglican. I was a Public Defender, and feel too sorry sometimes for my struggling students, only to find they were just lazy. So I STILL say that Les is not slow-witted, rather, as part of his humanization he is being used for hilarity ensues purposes. What counts now is how they, including Leslie, react to and act on this information. Good luck, Ann is like Darth Maul.

Les’ expression reminds me of Bill Murray in Caddyshack.

Ahh, vindication. When I mentioned how much of a doormat Tiff was for carrying luggage and giving foot rubs, someone countered that we didn’t actually see her do it so it was unfair to assume she obeyed. Well, she just confirmed it for us.

Wanna see Ann go down. Hard. Now. After all this, we deserve it!

“We don’t always get what we want, but we always get what we need”. That man…Tom… is totally besotted with Ann. Good for him; he’s a grown man getting his needs fulfilled. Back off kids. Or as Doctor Phil would (might?) observe (don’t quote me), “Berating someone’s choice in a mate, only drives them closer together”. Now granted , that’s usually the parents being critical of their child’s romantic choices, but I’m sure it works the other way around. Sure, if you absolutely have to, have a family meeting and lay out all of Ann’s misdeeds and faults. Don’t expect anything in return but hostility and resentment. At this point Tom could find out that’s Ann’s an escaped mass murderer and his only response would be “when’s visiting day?”.

Les doesn’t have both oars in the water.

Here’s a thought. Ann’s backup plan was to surprise Tom with the ultrasound if he didn’t propose, banking on either him being so happy they are having a baby or him feeling obligated to marry the mother of his unborn child.

But since he did propose, and had Tiff not brought up the ultrasound, do you think she would have made it disappear before he found it or would she still have made Tom believe they were going to have a kid?

And if Ann is cruel enough to fake a miscarriage, what would make her think Tom wouldnt spiral into a depression over losing his second chance at being a good father.

P.S. I’m getting tired of this whole Ann Eiffel thing going on and on and on, without any resolution except for two nit wits continually agonizing over their parents private lives. So lets have the big “Ann Eiffel Expose” already and see how THAT works out.

And Tom would’ve been happy to give Ann a foot rub, but he couldn’t do it because he forgot what part of the house she was in, and eventually fell asleep in a guest bathroom. He dumb.

NOW you know you threw a monkey wrench in her plans when you announced her pregnancy when they arrived from their trip and she HAD to lie about being pregnant so now she has to plan on having a fake miscarriage, don’t you? You gotta stay at the mansion and watch Ann VERY closely and follow her so that when she announces she had a miscarriage, you can say, “Oh? When? You never went to your obstetrics appointment or went to the hospital. If I’d know better, you were never pregnant.”

And Les? You ARE dense. You are going soft. Losing your edge.

If Tom is no longer helping Tiff, after blowing the whistle on Ann, she should cut the codependency and distance herself from the whole toxic situation. It doesn’t mean she doesn’t love him, but why put herself through the abuse?

Les is slow on the take this time. Les wasn’t so slow when Luann was trying to coyly ask if anything was going on with Gun & Bets.

No Les, you said it yourself, Ann wants to live in the lap of luxury. So she’ll do ANYTHING to get that life—-including fake a pregnancy.

“Faking pregnancy to get foot rubs.” Strike Two, “Einstein.” What do you think now, RSH? Honestly, I don’t know what’s WORSE here. Tiffany taking this guy into battle again, or the fact that Tiffany actually gave Ann a “foot rub.” (Maybe Tiff pretended she was giving Ox a pedi. She’s done THAT before)

So what are these two magpies going to do now? I think someone here may have hit upon a possible scenario. After Tiff and Les confront Ann with the sonogram, and Tom angrily asks Ann what’s the meaning of this, a tearful Ann turns to Tom and says:

Ann – “Oh Tom! Yes, that is a sonogram of my son Les! I’ve been wanting to tell you all these years that I had a grown son, but I didn’t know how! I was going tell you, I swear! Thought by using Les’ sonogram I could surprise you and break it to you gently. And your daughter RUINED it by declaring I was pregnant. So, I went it it! I didn’t know what else to do! Oh How you must HATE me now! Oh Boo-Hoo-Hoo!”

Tom – “There, there, dear. I understand and forgive you! “Les,” is it? Welcome to the family, “son!”

Les – “Gee thanks Dad! Which room is mine?”

Tiffany – “What the “Three Toed Fu..?!!?”

And what I wouldn’t if ANY of the above actually happened. Of course it WON’T, so Re-Lax. ;)

WOW! Bernice Halper was the VALEDICTORIAN at Pitts High School.What are the chances that Leslie Knox attended the same the high school as Luann. Please drag the dialogue arc out to Saturday before they confront the enraged couple with the revelation next week.

But knowing how conniving Ann is, she probably has a back-up plan in case that photo comes to light and her fake pregnancy is exposed: play the victim and let the tears flow. Make tom think that Tiffany and les are SO bitter that they’ll stoop to anything to make Ann miserable.

To that i’d say to ann: take Tom, tiffany, and Les with you to an ultrasound appointment, let them see the proof that the pregnancy is real.

I’m no grammar expert-though I loved Grammar Rock on TV, back in the day, but didn’t Tiffany use the wrong tense? Shouldn’t she have said “The pregnancy WAS (Ann’s) back up plan in case (Tom) didn’t propose.”

So, she is claiming at least 6 weeks pregnant… Does she have a doctor? Isn’t it time for prenatal care? I understand it’s a comic. This should be a slam dunk if she is faking it. Doctors, bills, etc.

Good luck trying to get your father to believe you. Eiffel has already brainwashed him and he would never believe you anyways.

The question now seems to be, can these two between them come up with an effective plan to use this newly found information against Leslie’s evil mom and Tiff’s dumb dad?

I hope somehow this is the end of Ann. Really, how many times must we be subjected to that awful woman’s meanness and cruelty toward Tiffany and to Tom’s oblivion regarding his own daughter? Bring in a new antagonist, it’s time.

Here’s the thing. Les is her son. He’s got a brand new step-poppa, right? Tiffany should help him pack up his cases and move him right in with dear his Dear Mama…let Tom see what kind of mother she really is. Tiff can take his room at Gunther’s until the inevitable implosion.

Unless Tiffany made a copy of the sonogram in Ann’s bedroom, she can’t know for certain that it is the same as Les’.

But it’s a comic strip, and the plot must progress.

This is the longest Greg has stayed on one arc. He must know readers hate Ann and want her gone. The longer he drags it out, the longer readers stay to see her get her butt kicked.

What is the end game to a false pregnancy? A false miscarriage? There are toxic levels of stupid in this story. While comics & the present entertainment industry loves showing men as clueless clods the bottom line is if Ann came home full of tears after “losing the baby” then normal man would ask questions about where this took place. After getting bad answers a good lawyer knows a P.I. and they would get all the information on “A”.

Les cracks me up.

Would it be too late to make difference in stopping this engagement?

Giving HIM a foot-rub would have been a better backup plan.

Les is cracking me up! But I am sure both he and Tiffany were portrayed as being way more intelligent back during the lingerie scam so the duh duh duh conversations are kind of confusing.

Can’t believe Tiffany actually gave Ann a foot rub. I thought she had at least a little pride.

So what’s Ann’s plan for getting rid of the fake pregnancy? It’s going to be hard to have a “miscarriage” that won’t involve a trip to the hospital. And she can’t just say “Whoops, I was wrong, silly me!” when she has an ultrasound.

I suppose nobody will be surprised when Ann announces she’s miscarried, and that ‘tragedy’ will be enough to move the wedding up.

I thought Tiffany had walked out on Ann’s demands and went to see Les. I cannot believe she played personal servant. This whole arc is disgusting and entirely unrealistic, not to mention more run-on than this sentence that hasn’t quite stopped, until now.

is this a legit actual crime? It’s definitely fraud but is that criminal or civil?

Best move might be to confront eiffel with both picture and make her fess up; instead of revealing to her father and crushing his heart.

Once again Les is portrayed as two brain cells smarter than a bag of rocks???

So far, this week’s run looks like Sherlock Holmes trying to explain to Dr. Watson that brother Mycroft is in reality Prof. Moriarty.

so what will Tiff do? Is Tom even aware that Ann already has a 20 year old son? Whatever Tiff decides to do, she first needs to get some adult help because Ann is much much smarter than Tiff.

So…. Les is acting like the comedic “Gracie Allen” to straightman George Burns (Tiffany) the last few days. Les is IMO, not as dumb as he has been appearing the last few days…. but instead, is distracted in some other thoughts and is only half listening to Tiffany.

Thus, at this time, I see three divergent options for Tiffany (and Les):

1. A comedic romp where Tiffany and absent-minded Les plot out their best thought out plans on how to unmask the fake pregnancy to Tom…. which in the end utterly fails for a myriad of reasons.

2. An anger fueled, “action story” where Tiffany and a more clear headed Les devise a full-blown “take-down” strategy to not only unmask the fake pregnancy, but to humiliate Ann and raise the hackles of Tom so that he breaks up with Ann.

3. A quieter, more introspective dialogue between Tiffany and Les, where further exploration of their similarities in feelings of childhood “abandonment” and their realization that even with their outward differences, inside they both are kindred spirits. With this knowledge, they (and especially Tiffany) begin to realize that she (and Les) will never get from their respective parent, the type of emotional support they both crave. But, then they both realize that they can let this craving “go” from their lives and move onto their own goals as individuals. If this happens, then Tiffany will realize that Tom and Ann deserve whatever their respective fates are together, and she decides it is not a healthy idea for Tiffany to interject with this information about the ultrasound.

It’s only Tuesday, be patient, there’s another twist coming that will reset the situation in such a way that the plot-line will only move forward very very minimally.

Maybe people keep bringing up the DeGroots because “Luann” is about Luann and her family. They have been sidelined by Ann.

He’s got it bad and she has him wrapped around her little finger, blind to sensible thinking.

If these two had any sense, they’d go to Mr. Grey for advice. Maybe I haven’t followed closely enough, but what does Tom actually do? He may be a bigger crook than Ann.

Aha. So that’s why it was taped to the back of a picture, ready to pop up when/if needed.

Ok, this is starting to have some legs! Let’s see Ann take her fall!

Yeah, Ann is still as dishonest as ever. I hope that Tom has a brain and kicks her sorry butt to the curb when he finds out she was willing to fake a pregnancy to get him to marry him but considering the history of this strip I seriously doubt it will be resolved anytime soon.

Frankly, I am still skeptical about the fake pregnancy idea. Ann would have to count on Tom never wanting to go with Ann to the ob/gyn, miscarriage or not.

Anyone remember Ann referring to Tom as her “almost fiancé” when she was berating Nancy DeGroot at the Fuse? Seems like she has had this planned for a while.

Hmmm…I wonder if Tom minds conniving and deceitfulness?

It’s time for Tiffany and Leslie to expose Ann’s true colors to Tom, so they’d better step on it before she comes up with another elaborate plan to make Tiff’s life miserable. As if turning her bedroom into a yoga studio wasn’t painful enough.

Les can be a little slow on the uptake…

Here is a new thought…What if the ultrasound photo of Les is also a fake, and Les is not actually Ann’s son, but a baby that Ann had stolen from the maternity ward of a hospital. The ultrasound photo would be just enough evidence to cast off suspicion…Also might explain why she abandoned him at a young age, no real motherly attachment.

Only a slut would try a trick like that…
