    Unless you want to build walls around every state, you should want a national strategy for ending stay-at-home policies. Unfortunately, the guy in charge of the Federal Government doesn’t want any responsibility, so states are figuring it out themselves. Some places are getting far enough past the hump, they can open up some things. Others aren’t there, yet.

    I could care less about some Internet goobers telling me to stay home, if I want to. I care about them catching it from a truck driver or salesman stopping for lunch at the local diner.

    We don’t have testing & tracing to quickly stomp out these ‘brushfires’. Too few companies have policies to make the decision to stay at home when sick, a simple decision.

    Most governors are taking this seriously. I hope it’s enough to prevent a big second wave.

    From Jim Wright on FB:

    So anyway, Trump: We’re gonna open back up and we’re gonna take appropriate precautions so we can do it safely.

    Also Trump: Ha ha, just kidding. F*** you.

    ===

    AS IF Trump, Varvel or any of The Disciples gives a c**p about precautions of any kind, let alone appropriate precautions.

    Nanny State Republicans are terrified to criticize Big baby Trump for fear of a massive Tweet tantrum.

    That second wave of the virus is developing where they refused to use masks and opened too early.

    The only thing we have is testing and fearful Trump never used it.

    Republicans are responsible for the death of 100,000 Americans and the shut down of the USA due to lack of a Federal Testing Program.

    Varvel credits Blue States with having much more power than Red States – Blues can corral the whole country while Reds can do nothing about it…

    So it’s OK to take away hundreds of thousands of American’s right to vote based on flimsy, contrived "evidence " of voter fraud, but it’s wrong to limit shopping and recreation to protect millions of Americans’ lives and health.

    At least Varvel’s admitting that blue states are the ones who pay attention to science, evidence, and facts.

    From Trump’s mouth to Varvel’s pen. You can always count on Republican Varvel to echo Trump’s talking points.

    The GOP want to have big re-election rallies but live in fear that Trump will what to show up and support them. They’d rather test positive.
