Not a good idea to encourage her since she’ll want to train everywhere, especially at home.

The fastest way to get a job done is to lead the way and set an example. The fastest was to slow a job down is to ‘Manage the Project’ and ‘Report’ progress to leadership.

All the bosses on my “Worst” list were micro-managers, all those on my “Best” list were “leave him alone, he’ll get his work done” types…

Micro-managers are never really happy with the end result since they can’t clearly explain what they want and expect their subordinates to read their minds.

Then they constantly impede progress by saying “Stop what you’re doing and give me a status report” and then get furious at the lack of progress.

Micro managers don’t know what they want, they just know that’s not it.

I always felt Micro Managers should just do the job themselves if they’re so smart. Otherwise leave me alone and let me do the job you hired me for.
