A truly insane number of people apparently have so little connection to reality that in fact they don’t  know its still there, have no idea how contagious it is, and cannot grasp the idea that the whole point of social self-isolation is to prevent the spread since we have far too little testing to be able to handle individuals who become infected… because we don’t know who they are and can’t find out (in time).

The masks don’t protect you. Since we don’t have adequate reliable testing in place, and some folks are asymptomatic or not showing symptoms yet, and Covid-19 can be spread by coughs, sneezes, and even just talking, … the masks are to protect others, in addition to social distancing.

What I love here is the guy is essentially talking to himself. Not listening to the virus itself as it tries to warn him, but only listening to himself.

Eternity is a long time to only hear yourself talk.

Texas had approximately 1800 new cases yesterday. But it’s just coincidence.

Things WILL start to get back to normal in Jan. 2021 when Hair Furor is booted out of office…and tossed out of the White House.

Some people seem to think that if numbers are going down, it is therefore “safe” and “it’s over.” They don’t seem to understand that it is social distancing, PPE, etc., that flattened the curve at all, and if we stop, it all comes right back!

We’re nowhere near a vaccine that would be a REAL solution, and there’s no reason to think we will have one in a year or more – and possibly several years, or never. We need to be wiser about treating the symptoms, and managing the number of people who get it, not “reopening” because #45 is afraid the bad economy will kill his voter support…

Mar 30, 2020 – Birx said the projections by Dr. Anthony Fauci that U.S. deaths could range from 1.6 million to 2.2 million deaths is a worst case scenario.

Grossly incompetent Trump is going for the top covid holocaust score.

That’s partially true here I Georgia. Traffic on main highways is really down, but some people are out and about, and of those many without masks. Not me.

Best comment on TV, today, from a pubic health professional: “Masks are a bit of help. Best thing to do is stay the heck away from people.” Which is what my wife and I do, anyway.
