Andy making tea does seem confusing.

He probably needed to hydrate. And the fact that there was no beer in the house is why the drink was tea.

He made her the tea because he wanted her to give him some money to go to the pub.

@Number Three Today’s strip -Andy IS funny our HERO Mr Andrew Capp is out of character making Flo a cup of tea unless as usual Andy must have had an ulteriour motive :o) my avatar is a photo of a series of dams called Chadwick’s lakes that leads from the highest point in the north of Malta down to the sea , when we were kids we used to catch tadpoles so that we could see them change into little frogs right now the water must be at a high level because we have had 2 days of unseasonal rains, how was your day , our Finally Friday should be busy and hectic because Connie is in a foul mood so I just grin and bear it :o{stay safe and single pal.

Made the tea with stale beer.. little wonder she poured it over his head.

Suddenly Flo says (with a note of shock), “OMG, he did!”.

That’s why it’s said familiari-tea breeds contempt!

He knows that anything nice that he does will be misinterpreted anyway, so he normally doesn’t bother.

Some people are not happy unless they are miserable.

At least they are still communicating. That’s the main thing in a healthy relationship, and their relationship is healthy. Why else would they still be together?

One of my favorite Andy classics was one where Rube was talking to Flo: “I have to get up at 9:00 and make Chalkie his breakfast!”

Flo: “By that time Andy and I have had a couple of rows already!”

[paraphrased, but IF Eldo could find it for us? If I haven’t thanked you recently for your classics, Eldo, I hereby thank you! Your posts of old Andy classics reminds me why I liked Andy in the first place!]

I have trouble believing that Andy would do that as well.

I hope it was Earl Grey tea she poured over his head. Vile stuff that is.

If it was Yorkshire Tea, however, that’s a different story. I would never waste that in any form. Absolutely love Yorkshire Tea.

We could certainly do with some rain here. As many people know, I hate the warm weather. Even though when I was in France last year on my Magical Mystery Cruise it was extremely warm. I was in the jacuzzi on the ship and the sun was beating down. Ended up getting a tan.

The weather was the same in Poland too.

Anyway… What were we talking about again? Haha.

How is Connie feeling 11 hours later? That’s how old your comment to me is now.

Anyone who thinks tea is a sissy drink has never tried Irish Breakfast tea. There’s a lot of caffeine in that stuff!

Is that why Irish folk can stand bagpipes without running for the nearest cliff? (Note: I, personally, am half Irish and half setter………….)
