I like hot food, but pure liquid pain makes no sense. If it doesn’t lend flavor as well as heat, it’s just an exercise in machismo. Or an advertising campaign for Blair’s 16 Million Reserve.

For me it’s about flavor. I can handle heat if it’s necessary for the flavor. I see no reason to seek pain.
