Each and every point Gorrell uses as equivalence to justify the dismissal of the case against a self confessed traitor is outright false or gross exaggeration . Even the gun release and trace operation, while stupid, was done to help law enforcement track gun running, not for personal or political gain. Whenever caught doing something indefensible Republicans resort to “whataboutism” hoping to confuse people who don’t pay attention to detail.

Flynn admittedly worked with the Russians to elect Trump. You can’t get worse than that.

Trump spent years trying to get people to believe Obama’s birth certificate was fake, but Obama still helped try to prepare Trump’s team during the transition and left a playbook spelling out EXACTLY what to do during a pandemic. But Trump and the GOP have a blind hatred of Obama, so Trump refused to listen, and now 80,000 people are dead and 33 million are unemployed.

Ok, not touching the other stuff, but Fast and Furious was a classic gun-walking operation. The idea being, watch a gun transaction and trace the guns and the cash so you can trace gangs over the border. Unfortunately it went south. It did not deserve the moniker of a scandal.

2 The Fast and Furious was an attempt to arrest operation kingpins instead of the low level straw purchaser. It may have been flawed but it wasn’t a crime. Just like letting a low level drug mule get through the border to find out where they go.

3 IRS targeted conservative groups? The law says that a 501 c 3 groups don’t have to pay taxes on their donated income if they spend 50% of their money on charity work and not political lobbying. Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS is one such group Do YOU think they spend 50% of their money on charities? or do you think they spend ALL of their money on political adds? If you think they spend more than 50% of their money on Lobbing then they are breaking the law.

4 FBI Target a presidential candidate? Geaorge Papadoplis Told a Diplomat that the Trump campaign was coordinating with Russia to Release Hillary’s E-mails. Whether true or not telling a diplomat that a crime is in progress is what starts the investigation. Meeting with the Russians more than 100 times, asking the Russians to release Hillary’s emails HOURS before they are release. This means NOTHING to Gorrell.

Obviously Barr and Co. don’t care about all the other things Flynn was guilty of.. tricked into lying.. throw the case out. Wonder if that excuse will work for the masses currently in jail

After investigation, not one of those items in the second panel were found to be true.

Gorrell will have to come up with something better if he wants to distract from the Marmalade Moron’s failings.

This started out O.K., but. . . .

To all the usuals, the strip is pointing out the hypocrisy of President Obama’s comments on the subject. Your efforts would be better spent convincing the Bernie supporters to get their arses along with yours out to vote in November, who knows with their support you may have a landslide election.

Attacking character instead of refuting the claims. That usually a sign that a person can’t argue anything substantive.

Let’s ignore the facts and try to distract, dismiss, and deflect. Does the RNC or the White House send out a set of weakly talking points to the faithful?
