If Rip can’t stand luke-warm flapjacks why has he not touched his stack by the third frame while Dutch polished off his own stack between the first and second frame?
I have to wonder just how much of a throbbing hunk of testosterone laden masculine muscle Rip can possibly be if, after finding out his wife is actually in the clear, his first choice is to hang out in a pancake shop to recap with his Dad instead of going back to his own home to join his newly cleared wife.
I always thought the essence of marital vows was that the two parties swore an oath that the opposite parties were the most important things in their lives.
Breezy and Rip have been separated for how many months now? And Rip thinks it’s more important to stop and get a tall stack rather than make a bee line to his home and get reacquainted with his wife? Maybe even share some marital bliss? And we are supposed to think that Rip is the sympathetic one of the two?
Give me a break.
Damn, I’m a guy and I still would not be at all upset if Breezy put “Would I Lie to You?” on the stereo and then followed the steps Annie Lennox laid out.

Nice job of social media marketing, Byte. Stir up controversy. First try to stir the pot by saying you’re done with the strip if it turns out Breezy is the mastermind, then when it turns out she isn’t, you find something else. Well done. But keep in mind, this is a simple, fun and entertaining comic that provides much needed escapism from conflict. Also, it’s just a comic strip, dude.
