No I did not notice in this strip but in Amanda and Lennie Peterson. Not sure about each one represents. Fork – food; Face mask – not sharing the virus: Microscope – working on a vaccination: Steering wheel -?: Apple – Mac; Shopping cart – providing food. What a wonderful way to spread the word that we all can do our part.

For all the dangers of CV-19, if what remains afterward are these same feelings of gratitude, we will have won something for ourselves – empathy and respect for those we have taken for granted. Prayers for each of them and their families as well as for those stricken.

I like it better when they’re dressed. As Edith Head so famously said, “If it’s ugly, cover it up.” I know she was talking about wrinkly knees and elbows, but. . .

I have read Frank and Earnest for years but never wrote a comment until now. As an essential worker, in the ER (I actually read this in between patients) and in teaching, I would like to thank you and all of the cartoonists who took part in the National Cartoonists Society challenge to use the symbols in their comics today (well, yesterday, since I’m writing this on Monday).
