The place seems pretty immaculate. What could Ann Eiffel even have on that list? More importantly, if this is where Tiffany grew up, then why in the world did she go to Pitts High School instead of some fancy private school?

Every public school has a rich kid. Tiffany was not a smart kid in school, but the real shame is Dad could had hire a tutor for Tiffany.The reality is the strip is about Luann and her family, not Tiffany.

Come on Tiffany, you haven’t been gone that long.

Hmm. Nothing about Tiffany showing Tom the chore list and nothing about her trying to show it to him and Ann somehow preventing her. Looks like I went too far out on that limb.

This house requires a staff to keep it running but Ann said they were let go during the money slump. So, who has been taking care of it since, not Ann for sure?

So we have a week of the big buildup, leading to the usual nothing ending. G&K may have Tiff come across something she can use against Ann while she’s house sitting, but I’m not going to hold my breath waiting.

This house is so big, big enough for Anne to send Tom into bankruptcy.

Tiffany’s gonna have a taste of the good life again now that she’s back in the mansion. Call your friend’s Tiff. Its time to party!

Oh, what a surprise. Ann gets away with it again.

So place your bets: Tom is taking Ann to the cabin to propose (probably led to that idea by Ann dropping hints) or they come back eloped (at Ann’s suggestion).

“McMansion” is generally used to describe homes with few unique characteristics. Their cookie-cutter design is usually between 3,000 and 5,000 square feet, but runs the gamut.

Tiffany’s Mansion is bigger than a McMansion.

Suddenly, the sunlight hits Dad’s face, and…he looks exactly like Knute! Booya!

We know it is not GnK’s style to wage a war on the strip. The Borderline and Weenie World scenes are a thing of the past. They softened Ann perhaps to write her out of the strip because they have no further plans for her villiany? Ann might only make cameos as Les’s mother or Al Gray’s sister at family scenes? IF Tom marries Ann, then cameos as Tiffany’s hateful stepmom. Villany is too much work for GnK, apparently.

I love it when a plot goes exactly nowhere. My brain gets tried of halfway decent fiction that makes sense, so this was a refreshing change!

Tiffany, after you begin to clean, see if you can find any ‘dirt’ about your future stepmom (wink wink).

That was time to take full advantage and have fun and do nothing. What are they going to do? You’re out of there when they get home anyhow.

Tiffany could try to make dinner for herself, leave a pan of oil on the stove, put something under the broiler, get a phone call and “accidentally” burn the house down.

Such a shiny floor, or is that water? Probably not.

True, since you’ll have to buff that floor, and vacuum the carpet on the stairs, and polish the silver, and dust the woodwork…

So, yesterday was indeed a total capitulation – and once again, no hint that Tom has any hint of what’s going on.

And in a really perverse way, this just might be the kind of cliffhanger that allows G&K to fade away, maybe back to Gunther and Bets?

Also, for those waiting for Ann to get her “comeuppance,” methinks the best we are going to get happened already: When Ann wanted Les to call her “mother,” and he refused.

That would have been a most interesting storyline, if G&K had pursued it, to have Ann shower Tiffany with affection, wanting to have her as a daughter, especially since it is now official that her own son has disowned her.

But like another man, in another mansion, Ann is making no attempt whatsoever to win over Tiffany’s heart.

The danger for G&K is that this storyline may be alienating those who have become emotionally invested in their characters.

Well now, isn’t this just a con-girl’s delight? Successful lawyer must have iron clad protection of his assets but Ann will be sure to give him full access to all of her goodies.

So, Tom was so proud of his daughter’s decision to take fully care of the mansion and then he’s gone away wit his beloved Annie (stupid!!!)…. At least now Tiffany has the whole house all for herself♡. Time for discovered Ann’s terrible secrets. Or something about her disappeared mother.

Now I can see why Ann has her claws in him and won’t let go.

Tiffany will probably find some letter or document that outlines Ann’s plan to fleece Tom out of every penny, then disappear. Who knows, maybe Al Gray is involved or Ann’s real boyfriend who is also a grifter/criminal.

Glad to see the child got away from her evil kaniiving step mother and back home. Jeesh!

My house I grew up in (built in 1930) seemed plenty big enough at the time, but when I revisited it after 50 years or so, it seemed so small.

Maybe Tom is taking her for a “romantic” break up.

So the writers decided to have her father forsake his daughter for his girlfriend? Perhaps that is realistic. Mordock999 is right. Sell all the furniture and furnishings in the house, get it down to the walls, and move to France. Be like that character Rosé; start a new life and don’t look back.

The purpose of this week strip was to transition Tiffany from Moony University to the Mansion with No Staff. Tom and Ann are leaving town for an undetermined amount of time with Chef Justine on Luannverse Timescale. (A farewell moment similair to Prudence ?)

What a letdown! No confrontation at all? Sheesh! Ok, let the snooping begin. Where are those cameras, or is that another letdown?

I would find out just Ann is keeping Tom afloat. I’m suspicious as to what is really happening. Tiffany could need Leslie’s help. He would just LOVE to bring his own so-called mother down.

Disappointed Ann didn’t get caught……….

I would be very much surprised if Tiffany doesn’t go to her childhood bedroom and discover that Anne has looted it. Goodbye to her mom’s jewelry, her skinny designer clothes, etc. And will she call Anne out to her dad? Of course not.

Anne probably had the house hooked up to security cameras so she can watch Tiffany.I am a little disappointed that they haven’t shown Anne the boot yet. I mean she has been tormenting Tiffany for over a year-and-a-half now. Come on guys we want to see Anne get her comeuppances!BOOT HER TO THE CURB TOM!

Now I’m very interested in Tiffany’s mother’s story. We’ve been watching Tom now with a gold digger but clearly Tiff’s mom left a very wealthy man – why, I wonder? Irreconcilable differences? Maybe she got a hefty alimony settlement but I’d like to think she had other life priorities that weren’t all about money. Why though would she (at least in this strip) never see her daughter? Have we ever gotten any back story on her?

Sunday: Knute and Crystal think of something to keep busy.

I would like to see Tiffany call Simone of Souffle and tell her what’s going on. It would be ideal to see Tiffany in her own element, working for Simone in Paris. I’m sure Simone knows many things about Tom that Tiffany doesn’t know, and she might even know where Tiffany’s mother is and why she has had no contact with Tiffany all these years. Tiffany needs a friend in high places, and Simone could be that friend.

She’ll probably throw a party.

Invite the party crowd over from college.

Well, Ann Eiffel has won again. She gets to monopolize all of Tom’s time, while Tiffany has to clean an entire mansion all by herself.

But, this can be a blessing in disguise. Tiffany does not have to pay any rent, which means she can put money away for an apartment, and be ready to move when Tom and Ann come back. Of course, the apartment will not be as big as the mansion, but it will be bigger than the dorm room, and at least she’ll have her own bathroom and kitchen again. And it will be easier to clean an apartment than a mansion (hopefully…).

Bernice (and perhaps Dez) would be the best person to help her find a place, because I can not for the life of me see Tiffany in the Gulag with Gunther and Leslie. Bernice can also help her enroll into a college that offers cosmetology courses, so Tiffany can focus on the talents she does have, and not fret over not having a business degree. TiffAsNails can still become a reality if she puts more focus on it.

While I can’t believe that Tom is letting his little girl take care of such a huge place all by herself. She should at least have a butler there to help out. But that shows just how stupid Tom Farrell really is.

Just getting from one room to another was how she used to keep her “Cheerleader Figure” when she was younger.

When it’s a 15 minute commute from your Bedroom to the Kitchen, you get a lot of exercise while getting a snack.

With today’s strip Tiffany is very close to being brain washed by Ann into a scullery main in her own house. A true and actual Cinderella. Poor little mistreated rich girl.

Ohhh Good, We are just going to ignore that the last 2 days ever happened. seems like a good way to end this.

t looks bigger Tiff because for the first time you are looking at it with the eyes of someone who has lived in and shared smaller places. Maybe this period where Tiff lives (briefly I hope) at home is an inflection point where she realizes she has another mission in life now and living here is not part of that.

This not what people like some of Mr. Gray’s friends refer to as “the Big House,” though in a way that is what it is for our beleaguered Tiffany. Make the best of it, girl!

Wouldn’t be cool if the Mansion has an escape room or a bunker in the wine cellar room. Like the movie, Tiffany’s mom could be hiding in the catacombs below the mansion. Or a cool security control room with a hidden surveillance system. Maybe a cool app on her cellphone.

Naught, that would be too much to handle.

I’m rather disappointed in Tom (and greg), we had a “gotcha” moment yesterday and nothing became of it.

Looks like Cinderella’s still in Castle Dismal this week. Show me the entertainment center; the one with the wall shackles and instruments of torture. (Blah!)
