Biden: look into it. The GOP: cover it up.

Biden has publicly asked that the records (if any) be looked for and if found that they be released. I saw his image on the screen asking for that.

In the Democratic primaries, I supported a different candidate in the Democratic primary — Elizabeth Warren. Joe Biden is not and was not my choice. Out of the original 25 candidates, Biden was near the bottom of my list and I am troubled that such a weak candidate will be our nominee.

I would LOVE to see Biden disqualified before being formally nominated (or has even clinched the nomination — he still doesn’t have the 1991 needed to clinch; more than 500 short) and get my preferred candidate, or any other stronger candidate, back in the running in an open, contested convention (even if held digitally from a safe location).

But it should be done fairly.

Democrats, who are NOT the party that preaches “family values” or wags a holier-than-thou moralistic finger in everyone else’s faces, have consistently policed our own while Republicans, who do get all moralistic and sanctimonious in telling others how to live, always look the other way when their own are caught with their fingers (or other body parts) in the, uhm, cookie jars.

The differences between Biden and Kavanaugh (and Trump and Clarence Thomas) are enormous, as I will continue in the replies…

Actually, it was conservatives who were afraid of “due process” during the Kavanaugh hearing. Instead of hearing from all available witnesses, they chose instead to railroad the entire proceedings.

Not guilty as long as the GOP Senate refuses to investigate…. but in any case as has been pointed out before, 4 of the 5 GOP SCOTUS members have been appointed by Presidents who did not win their Presidential elections outright. (W put in office by the GOP dominated SCOTUS in 2000, and Rumpy put in by the electoral college.) Without cheating, the GOP would be a washed up has been.

Why don’t we ask FBI to investigate the matter in 24 hours, and keep the report confidential? Same standards as before, right?

Lies. Kavanaugh had is chance to testify, and he lied. That is sufficient proof to disqualify him from any court.

Kavanaugh lied to the Senate and you trust him? His explanation of his yearbook comments made no sense. Reade lacks credibility while Trump made a recording bragging about abusing women!

To be honest, I am kind of disappointed that Democrats dismissed Tara Reade’s accusation too quickly. But I will say that, the Kavanaugh, we would be justified in not confirming him, because there were many good alternative candidates for SCOTUS that did not have sexual assault allegations. Not so this time around. Yes, Biden has one sexual assault allegation against him, but Trump has 23. If you want to make sure that sexual predators do not occupy the Oval Office, Biden is the way to go.

Cry baby Kavanaugh had a tilted Senate to whisk him to the Supreme Court and a beer with Clarence.

The hypocrisy is appalling. Biden deserves treatment identical to that given to Kavanaugh.

Multiple FBI inquiries, teams of “journalists” scouring the nation for witnesses and victims, absolute blind support for the accuser prior to any investigation, absolute blind support for the accuser even after the accusation was debunked, 24/7 speculative commentary and coverage convicting him from day one and a never ending stream of references that continue to paint him as guilty despite the collapse of the case against him.

Naaah. We trust the gropey old sniffer. Never mind his decades of public displays of “hands on”…ahem…communication skills.

Kavanaugh lied in a previous confirmation hearing. Those documents were blocked from review by the Senate despite Kavanaugh saying that his time working for Bush 43 was the most important to him as a judge.

    https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/09/judge-brett-kavanaugh-should-be-impeached-for-lying-during-his-confirmation-hearings.html

Kavanaugh was combative during his opening statement of the hearing, which shows that he shouldn’t have ANY position as a judge, much less on SCOTUS. Many of his answers, especially when asked about his drinking, would have eliminated him from most job interviews.

Tara Reade has changed her story many times. The latest statement from her is that if the report she allegedly filed is found, there won’t be anything about assault in it.

Trump has stated that he grabbed women, kissed them because he can get away with it, wa;led in on teen girls in the dressing room, committed infidelity on every wife, etc. There are far more accusations about Trump. How do the Trumpettes support Trump while trying to point fingers at Biden?

All Joe has to say is something along the lines of “it’s all right when you’re a celebrity”, or “I like beer”, and it’s all good…
