In a normal family, this wouldn’t be the case. The pictures are culled periodically.

I have phone numbers and comic strips on the left side of my fridge, magnets all over the freezer door, and just one magnet on the fridge door. Only the right side is undecorated.

The sad thing about the new kind of refrigerators is that they are not magnetic. I mean, it DOES make the kitchen look a lot neater, but…I miss putting works of my children’s (now it would be grandchildren’s) art up there. And vacation souvenir magnets!

Our current kitchen has wood panels on the fridge, dishwasher and trash compactor. They match the cabinets.

Steven Wright: I went to a children’s art museum; it was a big room full of refrigerators.

To SpiritInterface & Fishenguy, thanks for the help. All I could see was the apple. Tried to use the zoom function & everything on the page got bigger EXCEPT THE STRIP ITSELF!

She never used it, but I once made my wife a scrapbook with a simple drawing of a fridge filling each page as a place to put excess clippings (mostly cartoons) as an extension of the real one.

Drabble is one of my favorite comic strips and I have all the books. As an essential worker, in the ER (I actually read this in between patients) and in teaching, I would like to thank you and all of the cartoonists who took part in the National Cartoonists Society challenge to use the symbols in their comics today (well, yesterday, since I’m writing this on Monday). Nice way to work in the “Thank You” on the flag in the first frame.
