I love Rose is Rose — except when Mimi talks. I’m sorry, but I don’t understand why her speech is spelled that way. Mimi isn’t writing it herself, and she has no idea how to. She’s just talking. How is “getz” pronounced any other way other than “gets”? I could understand if she mispronounces a word and it’s spelled the way she pronounces it. But every word written like a 6-year old might write it is too much. I’m not trying to troll, here, I just have a blind spot about Mimi’s speech balloons. It’s not a comic strip that I will stop reading, since I do enjoy it otherwise.
