I’d be feeling dumb if I were waiting for the sunrise on the north or south side of the camp instead of the east.

We don’t always get to choose the path we walk; but we do get to choose how we walk it.

You have to know if you’re cured, Charlie Brown. This is the only way to know for sure.

One of my joys is photography; in particular working with models. When I get a great pose, I sometimes try to replicate it, same position, same light, same background. It doesn’t work. “We only come this way once,” says Chuck, sitting on the grass, looking for the sunrise. A great prayer begins with the line, “For, how do we thank thee for this another day?” And in each day we have the opportunity to get that special picture, to strike that memorable pose, to blend with our environment in that special way….that will never be again.

May this be the day; make this the special time; make this the day that will be remembered, and, will never come again. Amen.

They did a good job of lining up the strips to match the real Fourth of July today.

in my case, the sign said – ‘coffee’ so I followed the path where the sign pointed. no coffee, no doughnuts, no bagels, BUT it still was the fourth of July. the sun did come up – Happy Birthday America.

the path sometimes is rough. not always “fair”. however, if you keep going you never know what you might find. (the reason I take a lot of paths, just to see where they go and what I’ll find)

Sing along: Was I out of my head or was I out of my mind? How could I have ever been so blind? I was waiting for an indication, it was hard to find…

And this is why we had a few days worth of random Peanuts strips earlier in the week—so that this arc would line up with today.
