Portraying Carter as a well-meaning philanthropist and Reagan as out of touch?!? Yeah, okay.

King Richard the Nix started the Republican Party down the road to total despotism, and St. Ronnie the Senile just accelerated the party’s collapse. Hopefully, Agolf Twitler will finish it off once and for all, assisted by Moscow Mitch and Ms. Leningrad Lindsey.

Carter was such an incompetent president I was sure that was the worse I would ever see in my lifetime…and then we get Bush 43 and Trump.

As if we didn’t know, it will end in violence. It’s American as hot dogs and baseball.

Carter was a good president, he pointed out the world wasn’t infinite and we would have to conserve.

The bankers upped the interest rate to 18% to stifle Carter, as soon as crooked Reagan made his illegal plan with Iran before the election (totally against the Constitution) and won the election, the interest rates dropped.

God bless President Carter. A genuinely principled man, who not only practices what he preaches (he did in fact teach Sunday School) building homes for Habitat for Humanity into his 90s, but who has condemned corruption and immorality in our government and elsewhere. He even left the Southern Baptist Convention (not his faith, but the organization) due to its increasing extremism and discrimination against women.

He wasn’t our greatest president – though nowhere near as bad as the GOP and its media toadies want to paint him – but he is by far our greatest EX-president. And at his worst, he’d be way better than #45…

An excellent comparison of Blue vs. Red, Mr. Carroll.

And for those who weren’t old enough to remember seeing Reagan in action, this is exactly how the dumb jerk saw the world — and worse still, a mindless horde of adoring Republicans after him.

The eviction bans are expiring in some places, so landlords (and slumlords) will be able to toss people out without even violating the ban. Of course, it might be hard to find new tenants with a raging GLOBAL pandemic……..

Jimmy Carter is a bigger man than Rea*an could have ever hoped to be. And is a bigger man than tiny will ever be.

Ronnie also gets some blame for the homeless crisis after defunding federal mental health services.

The presidency of Ronald Reagan in the United States was marked by multiple scandals, resulting in the investigation, indictment, or conviction of over 138 administration officials, the largest number for any U.S. president (wikipedia)

Reagan started that “greed is good” thing and here we are today, in a devastated, broke sick and out of work country because republicans would not do the right thing.
