Would have been a two car stop. If one, the teacher would have been the driver, and drinks would be served in the back.

We put too much on the backs of teachers nowadays.

There’s something very interesting I saw on a Quebec tv show called les Francs-Tireurs (good show, google that if you understand french). The host was speaking to three teachers. He said that the “client” approach was what was killing the school system.

Children are not seen as students, they are seen as “clients” of the school system and in general, people are not seen as citizens, but “clients” of their government. A client is always right. If the parent complains to the teacher because the teacher punished a student for bad behavior, the client is always right. If the teacher remarks the student is missing too much school (because parents preffered to take him with them on a ski vacation instead of making him go to school) the client/parent/stuent is always right.

Don’t ever make more strict rules, that’s government tyranny! Oppression of the client……eeeh…I mean citizen.
