You’re such an effin’ idiot, Mike. You know as well as anyone else that it’s the REPUBLICANS who are ignoring the science and pushing to reopen the economy at any cost.

At least you’re willing to admit that it’s a bad idea, but I guess only because you’re in denial that it’s a wholly conservative idea.

That must be Trump holding the knife (though I don’t understand why he’s wearing glasses), with Pence hold the arms and McConnell holding the feet. Maybe we could understand Mikey’s goal if what is written on the bucket was readable.

Lester is eager to sacrifice tens of thousands of lives — if it saves even one CEO’s job, it’s worth it.

    Because acceptable losses.

“Now we’re going toward 50 — I’m hearing, or 60,000 people. One is too many. I always say it. One is too many, but we’re going toward 50 or 60,000 people. That’s at the lower — as you know the lower (end of the projections) was supposed to be 100,000 people,” Rumpy said.

Hey Lester, its already 50,243 at 3 AM EST on 4/24/20….. think it’s going to miraculously drop off to ZERO per day before it hits 60K?

OK, Mike, why are you still here? If you want to sacrifice lives for the economy, set an example and be a martyr instead of wanting to kill somebody else’s parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, or children for your carrot seeds.

The economy will recover, usually better and smarter than before. It always has. Dead people don’t. But go ahead, be a pioneer and show us the way on how you sacrificing your life will help the economy.

Isn’t it amazing that the people deciding it’s OK to sacrifice part of our population are the ones that DON’T work on the front line in hospitals, grocery stores, food service, farms, driving trucks, etc.

The generals are never the cannon fodder.

Mike, isn’t your overlord – correction OVERLORD – one of the ones saying its not time yet?

“I told the governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, that I disagree strongly with his decision to open certain facilities which are in violation of the Phase 1 guidelines for the incredible people of Georgia,” Trump said.

“They can wait a little bit longer, because safety has to pre-dominate,” Trump said. “I told the governor very simply that I disagree with his decision, but he has to do what he thinks is right."

    https://www.wyff4.com/article/gov-kemp-responds-to-president-trumps-criticism-of-reopening-georgia/32253102

I realize Kemp goes on to say “…I appreciate his bold leadership and insight during these difficult times and the framework provided by the White House to safely move states forward,” Kemp said in his series of tweets. …” and that he’s going to do it anyway but put the responsibility on the business owners. Why isn’t that what you are drawing? The religion of “I don’t take any responsibility.” Aren’t you one of the higher ups in that cult?

Mike Lester has got it exactly backwards here. The sooner we control the pandemic, the sooner we can salvage the economy. It is impossible to have a healthy economy without first having a healthy and stable population. And this is true for all countries really.

Mike, settle down boy. You can’t kill the economy.

There will be an economy even if the United States dries up and blows away. Even if it’s just two men trading a cow for a barrel of whiskey.

We can rebuild the economy much faster than we can rebuild the health care system.

With all the stores shutdown, with disruptions to food supply chains, it’s still heartwarming to see that Mike, and others, can still get their two bowls of stupid for breakfast every morning.

Taking one life to try to save one life would be a “draw” at best, wouldn’t it? But at least the official doing the deed can politicize it to “look good”…

The cartoon isn’t cryptic or complicated. You’re welcome to read complication into it but I didn’t put it there.. Here’s a thought: When the State tells you-you can go to Home Depot but not the locally owned nursery or hardware store-you can go to Target but not the locally owned dress, shoe, cosmetic shop-you can’t go to work but gov. employees can-you can’t go to a dentist but you can get an abortion-you can’t buy seeds to plant a garden but you can buy lottery tickets-you can’t play catch in the park w/ your kid or they take you to jail but they’re releasing criminals from jail-you can go to the grocery store but mail in voting is now required…this isn’t about your health. It’s about control.

Even worse, they are actually considering human sacrifice in the form of “healthy, young volunteers” to test any vaccine. Or you could get a placebo and die. Holy Hippocratic Oath!

    Something I recently read:

You say it’s your right to protest, but you get angry when Kaepernick takes a knee.

You say your body is your own, but you get angry at a woman who demands the same.

You are against abortion saying every life is precious, yet you are willing to sacrifice your parents and grandparents for the economy.

You claim the coronovirus is a fake, yet you wear mask, gown, and gloves.

You say healthcare is a privilege, but want your Covid-19 hospitalization covered.

You say socialism is bad, yet your hand is out for a stimulus check, unemployment benefits, and you wait in line at a food bank.

    What you say confuses me.
