I was once on the second floor of a business in Ketchikan, Alaska. A bald eagle came stooping out of the sky, looking like it was going to hit the window, but passed by and down. When I went out to the parking lot, it was covered in pigeon feathers. I thought to myself, so that’s what they eat when the salmon aren’t running.
