Serious thoughts to ponder. Very insightful for a young boy….or for that matter an old man.

It’s something to consider. Because it’s all too true.

MARG I even put a name tag before your place for Sunday. Bring lots of eggs. LOTS OF EGGS.

Perhaps Calvin will learn about life outside the box. Want to borrow my dusty black book? Sunday is the second day of year I get it out.

That’s the most important question one needs to ask oneself…what did we do during this whole journey called life..did we live to our fullest? make the best out of it… get happiness in life…rest everything is a piece of bleeep when you cross the other side of the square…u r just a piece of dead meat…so stop worrying and start living NOW…….

    Marg, unbelievable egg!

Calvin poses some potent posits today, but is missing the point: every moment he spends pondering questions like those, he misses the significance of that moment. Everything is nothing and nothing is everything.

Web search pysanki (or some variation on that spelling) and prepare to have your mind blown. With various parts protected by wax, they are dyed the various colors. The eggs are raw, not boiled, and when finished, coated with varnish. The insides wither to a small ball. There is no smell, but they can keep indefinitely. It is a fantastic art form.

It reminds me of the song my grandparents loved from their day called, “The Hokey Pokey”. It sounded like a silly song and the dance was pretty silly but if you listen to the words it talks about the decisions of life and just making the best of it because that’s what it’s all about!

Actually in retrospect I think the actual quote is “No one knows what it’s all about, it’s too much man, Let it all hang out” also famous for “made Galileo look like a boy scout, Let it all hang out” from sometime in the 60s I believe, nice song, forget who sang it.

Calvin’s version of 1Peter 1:24 “… “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away,” But, there is also …

Ec 3:11 “… He (God) has put eternity in their (man’s) hearts,”

We’ll have an eternity to think about what we did with our little square. Check out Luke 9:23,24

paraphrase: “He is no fool who gives away what he cannot keep (his life) to gain what he cannot lose (eternal life).”
