Comic strip characters have been considered essential in MY world for a good many years. Glad they are still here for us!

Things must be pretty bad. This is the first time I’ve ever seen Jef break the fourth wall.

Marathons and long distance swims have NEVER been considered essential.

Well done! Comic strips ARE essential so we can relax for a while!

THANK GOODNESS I have my hardbound set of “The Complete Calvin and Hobbes”, and my full set of “Bloom County”, “Outland”, and “Opus” hardbacks!

Wish I had been furloughed instead of work. Company is temporarily paying workers a pay increase to match unemployment with govt bonuses and 10% bonus over that. IE we get 10% over unemployment of $2090 every two weeks instead of $1900. Not sure $190 is worth it. People driving us crazy on the phones. Ok to call if we are open but at that point we are minimally manned and we simply cannot get caught in a 5 – 10 discussion that will ALWAYS end up with you need to come into the store and see what they feel like.

Boy, he reallly works ahead… but welcome in Frazz. Not too hard to get your workout, just allow for hang time and keep 15 feet from runners, 30 or more for bikers.

Boy you talk about busting the fourth wall.

Is this the first time this comic has broken the fourth wall?

The concept of need is vastly exaggerated. Most desiderata in life are simply wants, not needs. Hell, you don’t even need light or gravity. In fact, boil it all down, and there are really only 5 things in life that you truly need: (1) food, (2) water, (3) air, (4) a reasonable temperature range, and (5) chocolate.

That’s because you do not think like a bureaucrat or a politician

I agree Frazz and 9 Chickweed Lane are must reads every day. I also miss Kudzu

They’re far apart. It’s the distance flattening effect of a zoom lens.

found that as the comics become more up to date with the current problems the less entertaining / funny they are.

Of course marathons and swims are not essentials.

Tattoo parlors, though, heck yes! Y’all.

And we’ve also learned what kind of people and professions are and aren’t essential.

If Germany can live without football and Bavaria can cancel October Fest, you can live without a marathon.

I’m so glad you’re considered essential!!

On the plus side, I haven’t lost nearly as many bike races this year.

There was a newspaper strike in NYC. Mayor laGuardia read the comics on the radio.
