Actually, this administration has been quietly dismantling various agencies and rules through the beginning of this crisis. I haven’t heard of anything new in the last couple of weeks.

As Bonespurs’ folks tend to ignore requirements for public notice in the Federal Register, not hearing things doesn’t mean they aren’t still hard at work to destroy regulations, about this “emergency” Bonespurs is using to grab more power.

The overarching problem is that Tяцmp & the hard-core Tяцmpskyites are confronted by exactly the same facts, science, and reality that we all are. But such people will not stand for being brought down and made equal like that; they’ll not be humbled that way because they are “better.” Trying to tell Tяцmp Bunch that “we are all in this together” will only serve to harden their resentment and anger. By the lights of too many people, only the liberals and the liberal’s treasured hoi polloi are “in this.” The wealthy, those foolishly arrogant rural folks who believe they’re somehow “better” than the “urban elite,” and those who are brainwashed in the Blood of the Lamb all know that they are exempt.

Yeah, right. They’ll find out. A hard rain is already falling…

Anyone else seen the pictures of HOW MUCH BETTER the Air is in some major cities with most people sheltering in place? DO YOU NEED ANY MORE PROOF THEN THIS THAT MAN IS AFFECTING THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE CLIMATE?

Republicans are busy dismantling the EPA protections so they can pollute the USA freely. They don’t care about the human toll at all.

Fox News’ Sean Hannity blamed for dismissing danger of coronavirus with trending #BloodOnHisHandsHannity hashtagFox News host Sean Hannity was attacked Sunday on Twitter by many who believe he is to blame for spreading misinformation about the coronavirus.

That so many will go along as they believe that the end of days is rapidly approaching — again, but this time for sure — and nothing else matters. Who needs/cares about regulations when the world is ending?

Pseudo-Christians and pseudo-Republicans: an unhealthy/dangerous mix.

(— (— Plagues, monstrous rulers, and weather catastrophes — are they punishments of whatever gods oversee this world? Ancient mythologies arose as reaction to past natural and historical events. I can imagine re-workings of the old myths, and even construction of new ones, relating Trump and his Republican minions to their criminal mistreatment of Earth.

For example, some present environmentalist hero would correspond to Theseus on the robber-infested road to Athens. He or she (Greta Thunberg?) would meet the equivalent of Periphetes, who dashed out the brains of travelers with an iron club. Or Siris, who tied victims between two trees bent far down, then releasing the trees.

Also, there was Scyron, who accosted travelers on the narrow path upon a cliff, kicking them off to the ocean below where, some say, a giant turtle (Mitch McConnell?) ate them. Or again, Procrustes, who invited travelers to sleep in one of two beds — one too short, one too long — and either hacked off their limbs or stretched them out to fit. And of course, Theseus met and killed the Minotaur.

The modern punishments for most misdeeds are relatively mild. Even those people who harm large populations tend to receive mere fines and short sentences to “country club” prison. Even those who greatly pollute the Earth and atmosphere, bringing eventually misery to all humanity, will likely escape punishment.

This is not Olympian or American justice. We need to generate new myths to portray the punishments to those most horrific of crimes. Let’s do it now, before their deaths, forget the slander and libel laws. It’s possible some might show true shame to make amends.

And so to begin: What eternal punishment — use Sisyphus, Procrustes, Tantalus, and others for concepts — could be assigned to our present tyrant king, Donald Trump?

No, the GOP Leadershit Elephant never forgets unless (1) it never meant it in the first place, i.e., it (typically) lied or (2) it derives a benefit by denying it ever said what videos SHOW it said.

Now that the skies are clearing, the Republicans are all upset. Have to work harder to make the skies dark with pollution again as fast as possible.

The pandemic and Trump are the new ‘peanut butter cups’ of today. Two terrible disasters that kill great together.

An elephant may never forget, but it can be quite selective in what it chooses to remember.

It means that the policies of the past four years, which have been extremely destructive to the American population, to the world, will be continued and probably accelerated. What this is going to mean for health is bad enough. I just mentioned the Lancet figures. It will get worse. What this means for the environment or the threat of nuclear war, which no one is talking about but is extremely serious, is indescribable.

Trump has declared victory because all 50 states are under emergency orders for the 1st time in history. Someone should point out to him that it is due to his mishandling everything and its not a good thing.
