Of course, if we don’t take this virus seriously and try to keep business open as usual then the economy will take a hit because a bunch of people get sick and die… unless Mr. Varvel only cares that the mortuary industry does well…

Hey Gary. Why don’t you be the first to go out and shake all your fellow MAGAt’s hands, give them big hugs, and have them over to your home for a full size tRump rally. And no complaining if you start feeling unwell afterwards. Just buck up buttercup.

Actually, it looks like Gary is saying if we take our foot off the gas, the economy won’t go off the cliff. Is Varvel getting soft?

“We will not see diseases like the coronavirus come here, we will not see terrorism come here, and isn’t that refreshing when contrasting it with the awful presidency of President Obama?” — the new press secretary

    .

“We have great people. We have the most loyal people. We have the smartest people. You know, so many of my people, they’re so smart. They like to say, well, Trump, I don’t know if he’s got this right — let me tell you, we have the smartest people. We have the people that are the smartest, and the strongest, and the best and the hardest working. We have the smartest people. We’ll put I.Q.s among — some of us, we couldn’t say all of us, right — against any I.Q.s that we — we have to deal with, that I can tell you. I would love to do that.”

Does Trump Disciple Varvel believe His Messiah got something wrong?

Well, not to worry — it’s not as if it’s a matter of life and death, right?

    YOUR GUY, Varvel!

Stupid is what stupid does…. Money is ways more important than people. It’s a republican axiom. What happens if those 1% fall into the 2% bracket?

The situation reminds me of when I took a first aid course: When it came to the instance of someone with a bleeding wound, the instructor said, “The rule is ‘Direct pressure and elevate’.” To stop the bleeding, use a sterile pad, place it over the wound, press and hold it there and elevate the wound (if possible) above the level of the heart. If you cannot easily find a sterile pad, use what ever you can find. If the victim survives, you can deal with infections later. If the victim bleeds out, infection is not an issue.

The most important thing is to ensure that as many people as possible survive the pandemic, and we can then try to put things in order. If too many people die, even if they are not "critical to sustaining your lifestyle, the “economy” will still be in major trouble.

Gary, I just have to ask: What flavor is the Fox News Cool-Aid? You’ve swallowed gallons of it.
