I’ve read Bad Machinery a couple times before but only just caught on that Amy is just heaving that table around to lure Shauna into stopping to “help” her.
Depends on how you want to define “explode,” Shauna. If the “explosion” is controlled and manipulated to flow in a certain direction, it usually works out okay.
