We are told that we are now at war with the covid-19 virus. Now, I have noticed a funny thing about every American war since my first one – Viet-Nam. You find out later that they were ALWAYS feeding you crap with that victory is near spiel.

Take the report tonight from the New York front. They say that the death count has plateau’ed and may soon decline. It is hailed as a sign of hope. That soon you may be able to hang out like the old days. But is it really?

Now I have been tracking the state death counts on the Johns Hopkins dashboard since they upgraded on 4/1. You click the left side panel over to “Admin1” and the states are displayed in order of descending case count. When you click on each state it flashes the number of confirmed cases and the body count for that state. Make a column to subtract yesterday’s count from today’s, Ta-da! Here are the daily body counts for New York as of 9pm PST for the period 4/2-6…

4/2 = 189, 4/3 = 527, 4/4 = 630, 4/5 = 594, 4/6 = 599.

Question: How long do you think those ICU’s can go on Trucking like that before their clutch goes out? “Plateau”? If you stick a dime in your ear and then spin around 4 times widdershins on your left heel, yeah, maybe it’s a “plateau”

I am surprised none of the cartoonists have likened the current masks frenzy to the niqāb, niqaab or burkas that are worn by Muslim women. Which.. begs the question, have the women in say Iran (or any other area) statistically evaded the COVID-19 virus more than the men? Seems that would be a reasonable test to the effectiveness of wearing a face covering.

Instead he is buying up untested malaria drugs and telling everyone they should take them and then selling them at a profit. Not only crooked but immoral.

Jared is such a great fit for the orange buffoon’s family. He most certainly is able to muster all the smug self-righteous arrogance of all the morons in law!

Meanwhile, in NJ the feds have seized a county’s order of face masks that were ordered to protect First Responders, Nurses, and Physicians:

so that can possible be considered scatter shot murder, and similarly scatter shot murder is happening in Wisconsin where Trump political and court cronies are forcing poll workers and voters to face risks instead of simply delaying the election day.

My hope for both is that as many people around the world as possible learn of these things, and my hope for the second is that enough Wisconsin Republicans write-in vote for someone OTHER than Trump for the Republican candidate to signal to the nation that not everyone is willing to completely surrender their morals to go along with these attacks on American citizens.
