Putting aside the lazy artwork(somehow even lazier than the previous cartoon)
this is insulting.
doctors and nurses are courageous. This isn’t a new opinion.
“red badge of courage” is a bloody wound received by soldiers in war.
are you saying they’re only courageous because they are getting sick themselves?
Use your position/influence as an editorial cartoonist to demand that doctors and nurses have the PPE and ventilators they need or to demand that republican governors issue stay at home orders (that don’t exempt people going to church)
Normally in a crisis the American people put politics aside and work together to solve a problem. The enemies of a constitutional democratic republic — of the people, by the people, and for the people — have succeeded in dividing us so strongly that we now work against each other … even during a life-threatening global pandemic.

Far better than the “red hat of reckless endangerment”.

I guess the docs and nurses didn’t get bone spurs.

We’re going to lose far too many healthcare people and first responders to this disease. It would have been bad even with sufficient PPEs.

People like Gorrell pay lip service to health care providers without supporting policies that would actually help them. Hypocrites.

In Feb Trump sent tons of medical equipment to China.
In March Trump complained Obama left empty shelves.
It looks more like “Rigged Profiteering” than Getting the Supplies to “those who Need them Most”
