This is the first appearance of Faron, Frieda’s boneless cat. Nobody seems to like the poor thing. He did not last very long in the strip. Schulz believed he did not draw cats very well, so he did not bother drawing him.
Fun Fact: Faron was named after country musician Faron Young.
