If the political parties sincerely cared about America more than their fragmented partial solutions and collaborated/compromised to produce a hybrid system — with all the proven best components — that served the public, not the party and had standards for competency that were mutually agreeable to prevent a person as unprepared as the resident seems to be, we would not be in this situation.

But he is doing a great job, he even saved 2 million Americans from COVID-45 by stopping all those Chinese virus spreaders from coming here – protecting us bigly.

Just think what he could do for the world if he’d self quarantine himself in the Okie Muskokee Swamp? He’d not be lonely with other creatures of the muck.

Of course the 2 or 3 month heads up he got might have helped a little if he’d done one damned thing about it.

Trump lied all through this crisis, contradicting the experts from CDC. etc. He started out telling people to go to work, “it’s just the flu”, “everyone can get tested”, saying that the warm weather would end this in April. Trump has continued his misogyny and name-calling – he told Pence shouldn’t call “that woman (the governor) from Michigan”, calling her “half” Whitmer. Trump is sending more supplies than requested to governors that are publicly kissing up – Florida gets everything they want and more, while NY, Illinois and California get less and their governors get insulted too. Trump’s focus on numbers and the economy over people is reprehensible.

Then there’s the propaganda. Facebook / Politifact tagged a post from “celebrities” (DL Hughley post) as “mostly false” because Hughley stated things with truth but there were some discrepancies or open questions, Did Trump cut CD and NIH funds? – he TRIED to but Congress overrode him. Did Trump “fire” the people in the pandemic office? They concluded that “fired” is too strong a word but the people and office are gone. Trump called Democratic response to crisis a “hoax” but Hughley (and others) have said Trump called the virus a hoax – the former is still dangerous rhetoric and the “false” part is nitpicking. Did Trump “turn down” the WHO test? – no, because wealthy countries like the U.S. develop their own tests historically. But Trump did not pursue getting tests from elsewhere that are faster and more reliable than the CDC test. Now this “mostly false” tag is being spread like a virus by Trumpettes because the headline appears to exonerate Trump while the details are not favorable. But what Trumpette reads the details?

My Lord, how many times does the idiot have to be hit in the head before it gets through that titanium thick skull of his? Why in the world would anybody NOT err on the side of caution when there are potential lives at stake? How in Gods name can he say there will be 100 to 240 thousand deaths and that he’s done a great job? How many of those deaths will be because he downplayed how serious it was and told people it would miraculously disappear?

DeBlasio was urging New Yorkers to go to Chinatown to combat imagined racism at a time the Chinese Coronavirus was in the country and ready to rampage.

Last night on AHC, American Heroes Channel, ran a show that originally aired in March of 2017. How the World Ends: Episode 5 Pandemic PandemoniumThey predicted this pandemic. It was no surprise, nor unexpected.

It is questionable if it was ignored by tRump and his administration or not. He fired the CDC upper staff and cut the Obama CDC budget, and cut the National Security health position.
