Remember when we thought that this was going to be a bouncing leg ark?

Ideas for New stuff: Spitsy, Ellen, Dad, New Girl, Mowing Lawns, Street stuff, Bullies, Food Fight, Chess, Any of Nate’s Sports, Etc.

Well, this arc is so unfocused. We suddenly go from Mr. Rosa nearly losing his job, to Mrs. Godfrey treating Gina better than everyone else, and to Mrs. Godfrey treating Nate worse than everyone else. Now we’re currently in the middle of an arc where Nate figures out why Mrs. Godfrey hates him so much, an arc that has been done to death for decades.

“How can history be related to social studies?” THAT’S THE POINT.

Why is it that Mrs Godfrey’s subject is referred to as “Social Studies”. Most of what she teaches appears to be History. So is “Social Studies” another term for “History”, or is there a difference?

I was looking at the latest martysays clone “MaRtYsAyS!”, and i think this might be the same person or a follower. His account was clearly made a day ago, and his first comment was “Hooray for pollers!”. Its not as big as the other poll wars, but it’s still something.

At my school everybody works hard at being PC. You know, ‘politically correct.’ They try to soften their words so they never blurt out the cold, hard truth. Nobody farts anymore. This is another reference to the social studies class being about history. This is strange to me since my social studies class had virtually no history in it at all; we learned about different cultures and beliefs, not history or geography

This comic is a repeat of 27 other strips with nate and francis arguing about mrs. Godfrey. Deja vu be like.

It always occurs to me that Arthur is what Nate is not/wants to be .For ex., Jenny’s boyfriend,honor roll student, liked by all,( etc.)

If you can prove it, she might get a reprimand in her personnel file. Teachers are not supposed to show any differential bias towards or against students. If she likes all of you or hates all of you that’s fine, but once she shows different behavior towards a student that can be called unfair and discriminatory treatment and get her in big trouble.

I just checked out Garfield’s comments, and I found that EVERY SINGLE COMMENT was about the strip itself. Why can’t the Big Nate comments section be like that?
