OK, a serious question here. I know it is Easter, but this cartoon and the whole Easter season, about how Jesus is a human sacrifice for sin, has never made sense to me.

How does killing an innocent human sacrifice make someone else’s “sins” magically disappear?

The entire basic premise of “sin” and “salvation” in conservative “Christian” mythology seems to be just another human sacrifice myth.

It is similar to other primitive tribal societies: god creates humans and imbues them with original sin when a talking snake in a magic garden convinces a couple to eat a magical forbidden fruit which makes god very, very mad, so he forces them to leave the magic garden and later tries to drown them all because of the sin he instilled in them, but eventually just impregnates a teenage girl with himself, so he can offer himself as a human sacrifice to himself and if you show your acceptance of the sacrifices by eating his flesh and drinking his blood and wearing a miniature implement of death penalty around your neck, it makes the sins of those who do this magically disappear.

Primitive tribes sacrificed virgins to ensure a bounteous harvest.

Conservative Christians believe god sacrificed himself to himself to “save” people from himself.

I have elaborated with other further thought questions on one of my web pages:
