On tonight’s episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE, a battered sock puppet takes his revenge.
Hence “Punchin’ Judy”.
He took the “sock” in sock puppet way too literally.
He should have named it a “Sock it To Me” puppet (readers of a certain age will remember the reference)

Me Ma usta sew up something like that. She called it a Dammit Doll. The enclosed verse advised you to beat it on the table and yell “Dammit, dammit, dammit!”
