I see Farley and Beaumont are becoming good fiends.

I’ll check back next week and see if this storyline is over

Fiona did indicate that things would be better if Farley was outside. Any time you introduce a new animal to the house, you have to have a period where the animals get accustomed to each other. To do otherwise is asking for trouble. Leaving Beaumont and Farley alone with each other seems a little crazy to me. Fiona is pointing at Farley, but the fingers really should be pointed at both Elly and Fiona for not minding their pets.

Put the cat in a cage. Farley was there first. Put Fiona in a cage, too or send her to a motel.

Sure, blamr the dog. Methinks Fiona is going to be as helpful around there as mammary glands on a maile hog.

I guess that is a case of sound and effect.

Awww, poor Farley. Look at how righteous and blameless Beaumont looks, cuddled in Fiona’s arm. Probably now Farley will get booted out and the cat-from-hell will continue to damage the home and sit on kitchen counters. Yeah, Fiona’s a real help.

Send thag gunchbag packing.

Family or not, show her the door.

Fiona needs to go home.

Beaumont gets an A+ for deflecting blame.

The cat knocked over the pitcher, not Farley, Fiona is blaming an innocent dog for her cat’s bad behavior that is just wrong. Throw Fiona out of the house for good.

Yup. Farley is another victim of an offensive “defensive action”. The teacher, or the ref, did not see the first punch or prod from the bully but she caught the victim fight back and nailed him. Lesson learned. Observe and report. Let the Ref make the call.

Lynn’s Comments:

This is the reason I don’t have a cat. Dogs, when they disappear, are somewhere down low. A cat, on the other hand, can be anywhere!

Throw Fiona and the cat out.

Pardon my ignorance, but is it safe (for mom /newborns) to have a cat around? I was always told they (especially the newborn) could easily develop allergies or worse

Fiona has to go… NOW !!!

How can Fiona claim Farley did it where it item fell off a HIGH shelf, something Farley cannot reach?

The cat learned those tricks by watching the Siamese cats in LADY AND THE TRAMP. Or the mean cat in BABE.

Time to kick her to the curb, cat and all, and move on to another story

I thought about the movie “Lady and the Tramp” when I first knew about Fiona’s cat.

Fiona and her cat are SUCH a cliche. Ms Johnson can do better.

“Excuse me, but the dog was here first, and has never had issues being an indoor dog before now. Your CAT is the uninvited guest, and the dog lacks the ability to shred furniture.”

Fiona and cat would already be gone at my house.

They should have gotten rid of Fiona from the start. Michael and Elizabeth are old enough to help with the baby.

Both my wife and our son are allergic to cat dander; need I say more?

Shades of “Lady and the Tramp,” as the cats trash the house & make it appear to be Lady’s fault…

Gah… I can’t stand this arc… poor Farley

I’ve been keeping quiet about this because it is just a comic strip, but I detest Fiona. I’ve never had anyone even remotely like her staying in my house as a guest but, believe me, she would have maxed out at 48 hours, family or not.

Funny how all the damage is out of Farley’s reach but Fiona is trying to deflect blame from Beaumont anyway.

Only an insensate, socially challenged effed-up individual would bring along a cat into the home of a new-born. Same qualifiers extend to those who invite themselves over as a guest.
