Tiny and his fundagelical base are having a difficult time coping with all the science required to deal with this situation and some heads are already exploding.

How many readers here who are older…or with ..maybe some health problems…how many are willing to volunteer to commit seppuku just to insure that Dum Dum Donnieboy’s road to re-election will be smoother? How many of us so labeled excess unproductive eaters are willing to die a painful prolonged drowning death in order to give the dRumpth the fantacy thriving economy and job market he believes will happen if he disregards all medical reports and evidence to the contrary…and goes ahead with his plans to send everyone back to work? Not me!!! So what if I’m retired. I worked hard all my life. Now are my “golden years”. I’m not willing to die from a prolonged drowning disease just because Tiny Supreme Leader wants to gamble with my life just for him to get another 4 years to finish destroying our government.

I think he is being egged on by the Christian right members of his cabinet and the Revs Fallwell and Graham. Some of those Sunday preachers with the massive congregations are going ahead with services. Some even saying this a preview of the rapture

I look forward to massive crowds packing all the temples of the Church of Trump on Easter.

Then guess what happens 3 days later. Cough, cough.

Sadly, the majority of Americans feel that the resident is doing the correct handling of disease caused by the SARS-Cov-2 virus.

Trump is an effing imbecile. Same as the guy from Mexico and Brazil: it’s just a flu and it will go away. I recognize that I, myself, had a similar thinking: is less than 5% deadly; is way less deadly than a few others that happened recently and didn’t sent the world to a stop. Yeah, but did these spread as fast and made thousands of deaths in a single country overnight? As I understand is about 80% who have light symptoms on no symptoms at all; about 15% who may need medical attention and about 5% that may get critical with a risk of death. Is USA prepared to hold between 5 and 20% of people in the hospitals at the same time?

Also, is for old people, so why stop the world if it does not affect me: because I may spread the virus even if it does not kill me, and there will be more death people just by negligence.

This effing imbecile decided to do nothing because it was just a flu, even if it takes thousands of lives overnight, but doing something would hurt the economy, so better just ignore it and pretend nothing is happening, or just throw some money to the problems that may not even be problems, like the guy from Venezuela, so people forget he is an imbecile. So to not hurt the economy, let the problem spread, and when is to big to ignore, now is the time to do something

Now assume that the rest of the world somehow can control it and the infection starts going away, or even disappear. If in a clean region, if a single infected person goes there, the problem would start again. So if the rest of the world gets to control it, at a huge expense, but USA doesn’t, what do you think would happen? my guess: people from USA can not go to those territories. And that would not hurt USA economy

Maybe some people will not even notice they have it, but they can spread the virus. Of course a quarantine hurts the economy, but doing nothing is like accepting a slow and painful death because getting a shot was too painful

“You are a miserable human being, Donald Trump,” Maduro said in a nationwide TV address during which he denounced the charges of narco-terrorism conspiracy, corruption and drug trafficking as false and racist.

“You manage international relations like a New York Mafia extortion artist you once were as a real estate boss,” he railed. “If one day the imperialists and Colombian oligarchy dare to touch even a single hair, they will face the Bolivarian fury of an entire nation that will wipe them all out.”

Not so much “magical” thinking as “delusional, arrogant, ignorant, politically-motivated” thinking. The “man” is a national threat.

My magical thinking? I wake up, take my temp. check to see if I have Covid 19 symptoms. Decide if I need to be tested or not today. I want to live, at least until November 2020.

Stalin said: “a single death is a tragedy, a million, a statistic…” Curious how rethugican thinking follows that callousness. An fetus must be protected at any cost, but foodstamps for hungry kids, cut ’em. 200K deaths, OK. The economy suffer preventing all that death. Anathema!!!
