Nurse sharks kind of do that, and then they leave a hickey on your leg.

Eddie is so sweet and simple that it’s a good thing he is a comic strip character, and he will never have to grow up and face reality

    1. Evil: You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin’ laser beams attached to their heads! Now evidently, my cycloptic colleague informs me that that can’t be done...2. They should probably start to read “Sherman’s Lagoon” with their parents soon. It’s a good mostly family friendly comic. I’ll admit, they DO (out of view) suggest that they eat us “hairless beach apes”.

Sharks bite because they can. When the shark species evolved, having a jaw that you could use to bite was “cutting edge” (pun intended) evolutionary technology. Prior to that, fish just had a jaw-less mouth like a lamprey.

You don’t get block-buster movies made about you or TV network weeks named after you by nuzzling affectionately (well maybe on the Hallmark Channel).
